We are working to collect medical textbooks from students and libraries in the UK to donate to medical school libraries and clinics in rural and central areas of Tanzania... were hoping to put together a book list of appropriate medical textbooks that would be collected from students in the UK via the students organisation MedSin.

Cow dung on the umbilical cord at birth, forced feeding of infants leading to choking and pneumonia, holding feet to the fire or drinking cow’s urine to treat convulsions may be things of the past but we are still faced with many preventable diseases including mutilation - for ritual and tradition. IGNORANCE ELIMINATION, EDUCATION ARE KEYS TO GOOD HEALTH.
