Systematic review of WHO surgical safety checklist (3)

HIFA Quotation:
... as a health services researcher with some quality improvement experience on the ground, the details of exactly how to translate a checklist to your own clinical setting will really be up to experimentation and "trial and error" by the health services and surgical department. Unfortunately "by default" I know that a lot of quality improvement projects, such as those projects testing safety checklists in local healthcare settings, would probably not fare well in the traditional academic peer review process because these studies wouldn’t fit into the traditional medical research paradigm.
